Me and My Family…..
That’s me and my husband of 25 years, Bryan, and our daughters, Kaylenn and Kylee. Our oldest daughter, Kaylenn, is a Junior at Baylor University and our youngest, Kylee, is a Freshman in high school. I typed those words in complete disbelief. I’m not sure where time has gone. We live in the small town of Hudson in Deep East Texas. It’s where I grew up and where my daughters have grown up – a blessing.
I am blessed to be part of a close-knit family of fabulous cooks. We love to cook and share comfort food, southern style, of course. It brings joy and togetherness – something we learned from my Mamaw, Callie Kendrick. Her meals are incredibly delicious and made with so much love. When I was growing up, my Mamaw could always be found in the kitchen, humming favorite church hymns while preparing a meal fit for a king. She is our inspiration and the heart of our family.
